Ryker is 2 months old now and at his appointment he weighted 15lbs 7 oz. Our "little" guy is growing fast.

August 3, 2011

This is the day we welcomed into our family-Ryker Ronald Christenson. He was born at 8:26am and weighed in at 8lbs 9 oz and 21" long. It was a "long, painful" c-section for me but we made it and are so happy to have him in our home. He is so sweet!

Girl Scout Camp

This year Addison talked us into a week of Girl Scout Camp-yikes. Ron and I missed her
so much and could not believe we let her go for
a whole week. She had tons of fun and is looking forward to next summer, we'll see!!

4th of July

Fun Days in our home

Ron built the girls a fort with the furniture this weekend to sleep in. The 3 girls with their gifts and mess from the naught leprechaun on St. Patricks Day, Addison dancing with a friend at the Irish Cailee, Ron and Kylee at a Girl Scout tubing and skiing activity and Nana with the 3 girls

Winter Days

Kylee's 9th birthday was spent swimming and at home. Brynja had a Tangled birthday for her 3rd birthday. Ron and I also spent a night at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City and stayed in the Wild West Room very fun!

Memories of Grandma

This is me and all my cousins in Christmas 2005, my grandparents at one of her birthday parties, me when I was little and spilled a bucket of green paint on myself and she helped to comfort me and clean it up. I love you Grandma and will miss you.

Grandma Gietzen

Tonight my wonderful, sweet, beautiful Grandma left this earth and headed to her heavenly home. I was so glad to spend a little time with her this summer. For once she was very talkative and shared with my family many of her memories as a girl and young woman. I was amazed at her memory of these details. I love her so much and will miss her so very much. Going home will not be the same for me as there will be an empty whole where she should be. Thank you Grandma for helping me to be the person I am today. I love you.

Walnut Grove

So since I have the best husband ever, he drove us to Walnut Grove, MN on the way home this summer. We had fun eating at Nellies Cafe, going through the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, and wading in Plum Creek. The girls had fun as they have been reading my old Laura Ingalls Wilder books. And they love to wear their bonnets!!
